According to sources familiar with the matter, the crucial east-west oil pipeline that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz in Saudi Arabia is currently operating at its full capacity of 7 million barrels per day. This milestone marks the significant success of Saudi Arabia's emergency plan to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, which aims to ensure the continued export of oil in case its primary export route is closed. A large number of oil tankers have been rerouted to load crude oil at the port of Yanbu in the Red Sea, providing a critical "lifeline" for global supply. According to industry insiders in Saudi Arabia, the daily exports of crude oil via Yanbu port have reached approximately 5 million barrels, while Saudi Arabia also exports 700,000 to 900,000 barrels per day of refined products. Of the 7 million barrels of crude oil transported daily through this pipeline, around 2 million barrels go to domestic refineries in Saudi Arabia.
