PayPal China CEO Qiu Han: Cross-border payment volume will further expand this year.

During the forum, Niu Han, Senior Vice President and CEO of PayPal China, a global payment giant, was interviewed by reporters. Niu Han observed that in the global wave of embracing AI, the popularity of AI technology among Chinese cross-border merchants is growing rapidly. According to PayPal's statistics, currently 60%-70% of Chinese overseas customers have to some extent adopted AI technology. She revealed that currently, nearly 30% of cross-border shoppers choose to purchase from Chinese merchants online, occupying a very important position in its global business. "As the momentum of Chinese merchants going global continues to increase, we predict that the amount and frequency of cross-border payments in 2026 will continue to expand further."
