Feng Fei, the Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, met with the Italian Ambassador to China, Ambrosi, in Haikou on March 29th. Feng Fei, on behalf of the Hainan Provincial Committee and Provincial Government, welcomed Ambrosi and his delegation, and introduced the progress of Hainan Free Trade Port construction. He expressed hope that both sides can seize the new starting point of port operation, fully play to their respective strengths, further enhance personnel exchanges, deepen cooperation in fields such as medicine, fashion, design, education, culture, tourism, and yachting, and achieve complementary advantages and win-win development. Ambrosi expressed willingness to work with Hainan to implement the consensus reached by the heads of state of both countries, establish a closer cooperation mechanism, further enhance cultural exchanges, focus on expanding cooperation in economic and trade investment, industrial development, science, education, culture, and other areas, enhance the level of cooperation, promote the achievement of more practical results, and contribute more to the development of bilateral relations.
