Ouleqi plans to open over 50 new stores in China by 2026.

At the first China Partner Conference of Auchan on March 26, CEO Chen Jia announced that the supermarket plans to open more than 50 new stores in China by 2026, accelerating regional expansion and continuing the practice of hard discounting. Since 2023, the number of Auchan stores in China has been increasing at an average annual rate of 40%. As of March 2026, Auchan China has over one hundred stores, with own-brand products accounting for over 90% and over 300 products achieving lower prices by 2025.
