The eligibility for applying is a concern for many elderly people and their family members. This policy breaks the household registration restrictions, and elderly people nationwide who meet the conditions can directly apply at their current place of residence. Elderly people with residence permits living in mainland China who are moderately or severely disabled can equally enjoy the policy. At the same time, the policy can be combined with long-term care insurance. Elderly people who have already enjoyed long-term care insurance can still use consumer vouchers to offset their personal out-of-pocket expenses for elderly care services after deducting relevant benefits.
