Liao Min first congratulated the successful relocation of the FAO office in China to its new address, positively evaluated the important role the organization plays in ensuring global food security, promoting rural development, and transforming the food system. He stated that China has always attached importance to its partnership with the FAO, actively taken practical measures, firmly supported the steady progress of cooperation, and supported the FAO in growing stronger.
Liao Min pointed out that China's "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" clearly accelerates agricultural and rural modernization and solidly promotes comprehensive rural revitalization as a strategic focus.
