South Korea initiates midterm anti-dumping review investigation on PET resin from China.

On March 19, the Korean Ministry of Planning and Finance issued Announcement No. 2026-101, stating that in response to applications from Korean companies, a mid-term review investigation has been initiated on PET resin originating from China to determine whether adjustments to the current anti-dumping tax are necessary. The investigation period for this case is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Unless there is an extension, a final ruling is expected to be made within 6 months, and the imposition of taxes will be announced within 12 months.
