Iraq's capital International Airport hit by rocket attack
The Iraqi security forces said on the 15th that Baghdad International Airport and its surrounding area were hit by rocket attacks that evening, leaving 5 people injured. Saad Maan, head of the Security Media Center under the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, said in a statement that around 19:00 local time, Baghdad International Airport and its surroundings were hit by 5 rockets, injuring 4 airport employees and 1 engineer. The statement also said that after the attack, security forces immediately launched a search operation and found a rocket launcher in a car in the Radwaniyah area in southwest Baghdad. Relevant departments have strengthened security alerts in the affected area.
