Ministry of Commerce announces the second batch of national processing trade industry parks list.

On March 13, the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Foreign Trade issued a notice to promote the transfer of processing trade to the central and western regions, as well as the northeast region. This is in accordance with the spirit of the State Council's opinions on promoting the stable scale and structural optimization of foreign trade. The aim is to promote the sustainable and healthy development of processing trade and the stability of industrial and supply chains. The Ministry of Commerce is actively promoting the construction of the second batch of national processing trade industrial parks. In November 2025, the "Notice of the Ministry of Commerce Office on the Application and Recognition of the Second Batch of National Processing Trade Industrial Parks" was issued. Based on local applications and expert reviews, it is proposed to recognize 13 national processing trade industrial parks in the second batch, including 4 in central areas, 7 in western regions, and 2 in the northeast region. The list is now being publicized.
