NXP announces the i.MX 93W plan to provide samples in the second half of the year.

NXP Semiconductors officially launched the i.MX 93W application processor. As the first application processor to integrate a dedicated AI neural processor with secure tri-band wireless connectivity in a single package, the SoC is designed to accelerate the deployment of physical AI. Its high level of integration can replace up to 60 discrete components, integrating scalable edge computing, AI acceleration, and secure wireless connectivity capabilities. Reporters learned that the i.MX 93W is expected to begin sampling in the second half of 2026.
