National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) member and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hengyin Financial Technology Co., Ltd., Jiang Haoran, conducted research and discovered that automatic driving, as a landmark technology in the field of artificial intelligence, has made significant breakthroughs in recent years. However, high-level automatic driving in China faces prominent issues such as lagging laws and regulations, limited applications, unclear boundaries for commercialization of large-scale use, and inadequate integration of infrastructure. In response to this, he suggested promoting the development of intelligent connected vehicles, including revising laws such as the Road Traffic Safety Law, focusing on updating the testing standards for intelligent connected vehicles; expanding application scenarios to create large-scale application clusters; clarifying access standards to facilitate the application path; and integrating resources from the transportation, housing, industry and information, and public security departments to unify standards for situational awareness, communication, and to address shortcomings in urban roadside infrastructure.
