Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology: Guangdong-ASEAN trade volume exceeded 1.5 trillion yuan last year, reaching a new historic high.

"The ASEAN continues to maintain its position as Guangdong's largest trading partner, with the trade volume between the two sides expected to exceed 1.53 trillion yuan by 2025, setting a new historical record." said Zeng Jinze, director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, at the Guangdong Open Day of the National People's Congress. He stated that cooperation between Guangdong and Southeast Asia has already transcended the mere circulation of goods, and is now comprehensively expanding in three dimensions of industry, channels, and shared opportunities, achieving the deep integration of industrial supply chains and opening markets in both directions.
