Recently, there have been rumors that Meixue Bingcheng stores may start stocking coffee machines. Some franchisees have indicated that the coffee machines have already arrived at the store, but they have not been informed of when they will be used. Other franchisees have stated that ordering a coffee machine is not mandatory, saying "new stores have them, but old stores do not." Previously, most Meixue Bingcheng stores did not have coffee machines, and the coffee served in the stores was made using instant coffee powder. The products included Americano, latte, grape iced Americano, and other coffee products, all made with instant coffee and not freshly-ground coffee.
