The voting for the Nepalese House of Representatives elections has begun.

The voting for the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of Nepal will begin at 7 am on the 5th. According to data released by the Nepal Election Commission, over 18.9 million eligible voters will have the right to vote. The House of Representatives has 275 seats, with 165 seats being elected by simple majority and the remaining seats being allocated through proportional representation. The Election Commission has set up about 23,000 polling centers and 11,000 polling stations nationwide, mobilizing over 340,000 security personnel to provide security for the elections. The Election Commission announced at a press conference on the 4th that the election results produced by simple majority will be announced within 24 hours after the ballot boxes are collected.
