The journalist analyzed the implementation of the 2025 budget and the draft budget for 2026 in 31 provinces, and found that 14 provinces publicly disclosed the allocation of childcare subsidy funds for 2025, totaling approximately 45.9 billion yuan. Among them, Guangdong invested 8.723 billion yuan to implement childcare subsidy policies, the largest scale; Guizhou, Anhui, and Hunan allocated childcare subsidy funds of over 4 billion yuan each; Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Yunnan, and Hubei allocated childcare subsidy funds of over 3 billion yuan each; Zhejiang and Chongqing allocated over 2 billion yuan; Liaoning and Inner Mongolia allocated over 1 billion yuan; Hainan and Ningxia allocated less than 1 billion yuan.
