On February 24, Zhao Yide, the Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee, and Zhao Gang, the Governor of the province, held talks in Xi'an with Ge Haijiao, the Chairman of the Bank of China. Zhao Yide said that he hopes the Bank of China will continue to leverage its strengths, deepen its roots in Shaanxi, innovate financial tools and products, increase credit investment, and continuously expand the depth and breadth of cooperation in areas such as promoting new industrialization, cultivating new productive forces, and expanding high-level opening up, in order to provide strong financial support for Shaanxi's high-quality development and modernization construction. Ge Haijiao stated that Shaanxi has rich scientific and educational resources, strong innovation capabilities, and a good industrial foundation, presenting broad prospects for cooperation. The Bank of China will be more proactive in serving Shaanxi's development, increase its support for technological innovation, project construction, and the construction of a modern industrial system, and work with Shaanxi to achieve higher levels of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation through solid cooperation in "five major areas" of finance.
