Beijing sandstorm led to multiple flights diverting to Daxing Airport.
On February 21st, many northern regions have been experiencing sandstorm weather. As a result, Beijing Daxing and Taiyuan airport have experienced varying degrees of delays, with at least 10 flights making emergency landings. According to Flight Tracker, at Beijing Daxing International Airport, the delay rate has reached 27%, with 14 inbound flights showing abnormal status, already diverting to nearby airports such as Tianjin and Qingdao with no definite return time. Additionally, 80 flights have been cancelled and 24 flights are delayed.
