During the first three days of the Spring Festival holiday, there is a strong demand for charging of new energy vehicles, and the operation of the highway charging infrastructure is stable.

According to the National Energy Administration, from the 28th of the twelfth month to the 1st day of the first month, a total of 140.99 million times of charging for new energy vehicles on highways were recorded in the first three days of the Spring Festival holiday this year through the statistical analysis of 53,300 high-speed highway charging piles included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform. The average daily charging volume reached 11.800.08 million kilowatt-hours, which is an increase of 63.05% compared to the same period last year. The operation of the highway charging infrastructure was stable, effectively ensuring the travel needs of people driving new energy vehicles during the holiday for visiting relatives, tourism, and returning home. In the coming days, the peak return travel period for the Spring Festival holiday will be welcomed, and the National Energy Administration, together with relevant parties, will further strengthen dispatch monitoring to continue ensuring the charging needs of new energy vehicles during the Spring Festival holiday.
