Gansu Province adjusts the standard for charging land reclamation fees in the whole province

The Gansu Provincial People's Government recently issued a notice regarding the adjustment of the province's land reclamation fees. It proposed that land reclamation fees be levied based on regions, specifically: in the eastern and western regions - including Pingliang City, Qingyang City, Jiayuguan City, Jinchang City, Jiuquan City, Zhangye City, and Wuwei City, the fee is 16.5 yuan per square meter. In the central and southern regions - including Lanzhou City, Baiyin City, Tianshui City, Dingxi City, Longnan City, Gannan Prefecture, Linxia Prefecture, and Lanzhou New District, the fee is 20.5 yuan per square meter. For those who legally occupy permanent basic farmland, the payment standard is twice the highest land reclamation fee in the local area.
