The National Energy Administration conducts research on power supply protection for the Spring Festival in 2026 and the National Two Sessions.

On February 12th, He Yang, member of the Party Group of the National Energy Administration and Deputy Director, led a team to conduct on-site research in Beijing to supervise and ensure the power supply during the Spring Festival and the National People's Congress in 2026. The research team visited important power supply locations to understand the situation of power supply security work in relevant units. During the research, He Yang emphasized that all relevant units should have a sense of responsibility and ensure that all aspects of power supply during the Spring Festival and the National People's Congress are solid, detailed, and secure. During the Spring Festival, attention should be focused on guaranteeing the livelihood of the people, while during the National People's Congress, important activity locations should be closely monitored to ensure reliable power supply. It is necessary to strengthen emergency standby, closely guard against natural disasters, promptly handle emergencies, and ensure a stable and orderly national electricity safety production situation. Leaders from the Electricity Safety Supervision Department of the National Energy Administration, the Electricity Department, the North China Energy Supervision Bureau, the Beijing Urban Management Commission, and the State Grid Corporation also participated in the research.
