According to sources, the AI tool Claude from the artificial intelligence company Anthropic was used in the operation to capture Maduro, highlighting the increasing attention of the US Department of Defense to AI models. The operation to capture Maduro and his wife was carried out last month, during which several locations in Caracas were bombed. Anthropic's usage guidelines clearly prohibit the use of Claude for assisting in violent activities, developing weapons, or conducting surveillance. A spokesperson for Anthropic stated: "We cannot comment on whether Claude or any other AI model has been used in any specific operation, whether classified or not. Whether in the private sector or government agencies, the use of Claude must comply with our usage policies, which regulate the deployment of Claude.
