In January 2026, China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries' passenger capacity decreased by 1.10% compared to the same period last year, with a 5.42% decrease in domestic capacity and increases of 0.12% and 10.45% in regional and international capacities, respectively. Passenger traffic volume decreased by 2.86% year-on-year, with a 6.91% decrease in domestic traffic and increases of 1.12% and 7.96% in regional and international traffic, respectively. The passenger load factor was 83.26%, a decrease of 1.51 percentage points year-on-year, with decreases of 1.34 and 1.90 percentage points in domestic and international load factors, and an increase of 0.77 percentage points in regional load factor.
