The speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan announced his resignation.

The website of the Kyrgyzstan Parliament announced on the 12th that the Speaker of the Parliament, Turdakun Ulu, had resigned on that day. In a meeting of the Kyrgyz Parliament, Turdakun Ulu mentioned that there have been "certain political disagreements" within the country recently, as well as rumors about himself. He stated that he will continue to serve the people, the country, and the Parliament as an ordinary member in the future. Turdakun Ulu also mentioned that his resignation from the position of Speaker of the Parliament was his own decision and that no one pressured him. He emphasized the need for President Zaparov's initiated political reforms to be fully completed for the country to maintain political stability.
