Some companies quoted bromine at around 45,000 yuan/ton in early February, twice as expensive as the low point of last year. Binhe Group has recently stopped quoting bromine products, and an insider at Shandong Haiwang Chemical also revealed to journalists that the company's bromine production line has been completely shut down. However, a state-owned enterprise in Shandong disclosed to journalists that the company still produces bromine. Several industry insiders stated that the future trend of bromine prices mainly depends on the supply side, and the abundance of overseas sources will have a significant impact on prices.
