The Lunar New Year holiday is expected to bring around 1.43 million mainland Chinese tourists to Hong Kong.

On the 7th, Director of the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Rosa Shu-pei, expressed that according to estimates from the SAR Immigration Department, approximately 1.43 million mainland tourists will visit Hong Kong during the Lunar New Year holiday. According to the Hong Kong Tourism Industry Authority and industry estimates, it is expected that about 2,200 tour groups will enter Hong Kong at that time, with the daily number of inbound groups increasing significantly compared to last year's mainland Labour Day and National Day Golden Week.
