Yangshan Port's January mainline container ship traffic exceeded 800 vessels for the first time, reaching a new historical high.

According to the news released by Pudong, it was informed by the Yangshan Port Maritime Bureau that in January 2026, the monthly number of international containerships entering and leaving the port of Yangshan reached a record high of 834 vessels, an increase of about 4.38% year-on-year and 5.04% month-on-month. The monthly container throughput reached 2.615 million TEUs, kicking off the year with a strong start.
