Trump was asked to sue the Department of the Treasury for hundreds of billions of dollars, and the US Treasury Secretary stutteringly admitted: If he wins, it will be the taxpayers who foot the bill.

Yellen stated that if Trump prevails in the lawsuit, he will wait for instructions from the Justice Department on whether to pay any amount to Trump, and he personally does not have the authority to decide on the payment of this sum.
