The Transport and Port Administration Bureau of Haikou City, Hainan Province issued a notice that, due to the weakening impact of heavy fog in the Qiongzhou Strait, Haikou Xinhaigang Port, Xiuying Port, and the South Railway Port will resume transportation at 10:00 on February 6, 2026. After the resumption of operations, drivers and passengers going to the islands are required to enter the port no more than 2 hours before the scheduled departure time on their purchased ferry tickets. For the handling of ticket refunds or changes for canceled flights due to fog-related suspensions, please pay attention to the notifications sent by the port and the reminders on the ticket purchase interface. It is expected that the port will take about 3 hours to return to normal operation after resuming services.
