The China National Film Administration signed a co-production agreement with the Italian Ministry of Culture.

On February 2nd, the Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Director of the Central Radio and Television Station, Shen Haixiong, and the Italian Minister of Culture, Giulio, signed the "Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Italy on Cooperation in Filming Movies" in Beijing. In accordance with the consensus reached by the leaders of China and Italy, in recent years, both sides have continued to deepen exchanges and cooperation in the field of film. The signing of the film co-production agreement between the governments of China and Italy will further promote the two countries' film institutions to strengthen cooperation in film production, enhance mutual understanding and recognition between the two peoples, and advance China-Italy bilateral relations to a higher level.
