The Civil Aviation Administration organized a symposium with overseas airlines.
On January 28, 2026, the Civil Aviation Administration held a seminar in Beijing for foreign airlines. At the meeting, the Civil Aviation Administration, the General Administration of Customs, the relevant bureaus and units of the National Immigration Administration interpreted the latest policies and regulations related to the operation of foreign airlines. They communicated and exchanged views with foreign airlines on issues such as safety management, slot allocation, security procedures, route usage, fare management, and operational facilitation that foreign airlines are concerned about. In 2025, the Civil Aviation Administration of China continued to optimize the business environment and policy services, further facilitating the operation of foreign airlines, and the international air transport market in China accelerated its recovery. International flights have recovered to over 90% of 2019 levels, and international passenger transport volume increased by 21.6% year-on-year. With the continuous expansion of China's unilateral visa-free range and the implementation of a series of policy measures such as customs facilitation, the attractiveness of the Chinese civil aviation market continues to increase.
