HSBC and Hang Seng Bank may "exchange executives", Jonathon Lee is expected to become Hang Seng's first foreign financial director.

According to Hong Kong's Sing Tao Daily, Hang Seng's Chief Financial Officer Su Xuebing will temporarily serve as Acting Chief Financial Officer for HSBC Asia and the Middle East, effective from March this year; HSBC's current Chief Financial Officer for Asia and the Middle East Jonathon Lee will be transferred to Hang Seng as the Chief Financial Officer. On January 27, Hang Seng Bank's listing status on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange was revoked. After delisting, Hang Seng Bank became a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and HSBC Holdings PLC.
