According to the People's Posts and Telecommunications News, recently, the PQC research team of China Telecom and Professor Yu Yu's team from Shanghai Jiaotong University jointly tackled the problem and successfully revealed fundamental security flaws in the KAZ series algorithm suite at the structural level, proving that it cannot meet the security requirements for standardization of cryptographic algorithms. The related research results were published in the form of a paper on the preprint platform of the International Cryptography Association, providing practical references for the security evaluation of post-quantum cryptographic algorithms and fully demonstrating the team's technological accumulation and innovative breakthroughs in this field.
