The government of Salamanca, Guanajuato State, Mexico, announced on the 25th that there was a shooting incident at a soccer field in the city that afternoon, resulting in 11 deaths and 12 injuries. The announcement stated that there were many people gathered at the soccer field when the shooting occurred. After the shooting, 10 people died on the spot, and another person died in the hospital. The 12 injured are currently receiving treatment for gunshot wounds.
