Huayou Cobalt plans to acquire 100% of the shares of Argentum Lithium S.A. for $175 million.

Hualian Holdings announced that on December 22, 2025, the company approved the cash acquisition of 100% of the shares of Argentum Lithium S.A. On the same day, they signed an agreement to acquire 80% equity in the Arizaro project for $175 million. The transaction does not constitute a related party transaction or a major asset restructuring and still requires approval by the shareholders' meeting. To protect the interests of small and medium shareholders, the company plans to engage an intermediary for audit and evaluation. As of the disclosure date of the announcement, work on audit and evaluation, overseas investment, and approval for foreign national security review are all progressing, and they have also prepared to sign a guarantee deposit custody agreement.
