Trump: The US's land-based anti-drug operations can cover Mexico and other Central and South American regions

On January 24 local time, it was reported that U.S. President Trump stated that U.S. land operations against drug trafficking groups "could happen anywhere", including Mexico, as well as countries in Central and South America. Trump said that the U.S. is "very aware of the drug cartel's routes, bases, and residences," and that they will "directly strike drug trafficking groups".
