OpenAI launches Codex release month

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman tweeted on the X platform, announcing that in the next month, OpenAI will launch multiple products related to Codex, with the first product set to be released next week. Codex is a highly sophisticated intelligent programming assistance ecosystem, not just an API interface, but a "AI software engineer" integrating models, tools, and workflows. Altman emphasized the importance of AI programming security, stating that the quickest way to benefit the world is to rapidly fix security vulnerabilities. Simultaneously with the tweet, the OpenAI official website also released a technical blog post, delving into the core logic of its cross-platform local software intelligence Codex CLI, called the "intelligence loop." This loop is responsible for orchestrating interactions between users, models, and tools, by converting user commands into token inputs for the model, carrying out inference and invoking tools, until generating the final response.
