Six missing persons in the New Zealand mountain landslide have little hope of survival.

The New Zealand police confirmed on the 24th that after a landslide in a holiday park at the foot of Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty region of the North Island, at least six people are still missing. The missing individuals have "almost no hope of survival," and rescue operations have entered the stage of searching for bodies. Tim Anderson, the commander of the Bay of Plenty district police, stated that rescue personnel have found bodies at the landslide site and are in the process of identifying them. The police confirmed that among the missing individuals are five residents of the North Island, including two 15-year-old teenagers, and a tourist from Sweden.
