Ambassador Zhao Bin attends the 2025 annual summary meeting of Chinese-funded mining enterprises association in the Congo.
On January 17, 2026, the Congo-China Mining Industry Association held its annual summary meeting for 2025 at the MCC-LCS company. Chinese Ambassador to Congo Zhao Bin, commercial affairs counselor Han Xiaofei, and representatives from member units of the association attended the meeting. Ambassador Zhao listened to the work report for 2025 and the work plan for 2026 presented by the association's president, Chen Zhimin, and fully affirmed the role the association has played in promoting practical cooperation between Chinese and Congolese mining businesses, building industry exchange platforms, and guiding companies to fulfill their social responsibilities over the past year. Taking into account the development of the mining industry in Congo, Ambassador Zhao made demands on Chinese-funded mining enterprises in Congo: strengthening risk prevention and resolution capabilities, deepening local market cultivation, enhancing integrated development, effectively fulfilling social responsibilities, and jointly maintaining and enhancing the overall image and reputation of Chinese-funded mining industry. He hoped that in the new year, the association will continue to consolidate the collective strength of its members, guide companies to operate in compliance and steadily develop, and make greater contributions to deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Congo.
