On January 23, Deputy Director Rui Wenbiao of the National Intellectual Property Administration stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that the number of high-value invention patents in China has reached 2.292 million. The fastest-growing effective invention patents are in the fields of information technology management methods, computer technology, medical technology, etc., with the quantity of artificial intelligence patents ranking among the top in the world.
