Pakistan makes a final ruling on the sunset review of anti-dumping on Chinese sulfuric acid.
According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on January 19, 2026, Pakistan's National Tariff Commission issued the latest announcement on Case No. ADC49, making a negative final ruling on the anti-dumping second sunset review of sulfur originating from or imported from mainland China, India, Indonesia, Iran, South Korea, and Taiwan, China. It has decided to terminate the anti-dumping duty on the products involved in the case with immediate effect. The products involved are mainly used for sulfuring various substances, such as preparing paraffin in detergents, and are also used in the production of laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, and other industrial cleaning agents.
