Lithium battery cathode material company Rongbai Technology investigated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

On the evening of January 18th, Rongbai Technology announced that the company had received a "Notice of Filing" issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, stating that an investigation would be launched into the company due to the potentially misleading statements in a major contract announcement made earlier. The filing was triggered by the announcement on January 13th of the "Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathode Material Procurement Cooperation Agreement". The announcement disclosed that the company planned to supply approximately 3.05 million tons of domestic regional lithium iron phosphate cathode materials to Contemporary Amperex Technology from the first quarter of 2026 to 2031, with a total sales amount exceeding 120 billion yuan.
