Elon Musk filed a document to the court on Friday local time, seeking up to $134 billion in compensation from the artificial intelligence startup OpenAI and its shareholder Microsoft, claiming that he believes he should receive "undue profits" from his early support of the company. In the filing submitted to federal court before suing the two companies, Musk stated that since co-founding OpenAI in 2015, his contributions have led to profits of $65.5 billion to $109.4 billion for OpenAI and $13.3 billion to $25.1 billion for Microsoft.
