Since the launch of the pilot work of comprehensive value evaluation of medical insurance in the real world, a group of top medical institutions nationwide have actively responded and expressed their willingness to participate in the evaluation work. In order to better establish a pattern of leading by example, and to carry out the comprehensive value evaluation work of medical insurance in the real world, a national credible evaluation point network for the evaluation of medical insurance comprehensive value in the real world was jointly initiated and established by several medical institutions. On January 16th, the credible evaluation point network was officially established in Beijing with on-site signing. Shi Zihai, member of the Party Group of the National Medical Insurance Administration and Deputy Director, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Shi Zihai pointed out that the purpose of conducting comprehensive value evaluation of medical insurance in the real world is to create a set of scientific and authoritative evaluation criteria, rely on real and credible data to objectively, comprehensively, and accurately identify the clinical benefits and overall value of medical products, and support the formulation and decision-making of medical insurance policies. In this process, the vast majority of medical institutions represented by credible evaluation points can play an irreplaceable role in generating data, setting standards, and conducting research. It is hoped that all credible evaluation points will play a leading role, be the pioneers of real and credible evaluation, solid contributors of real world data, common builders of unified evaluation systems, and actively engage in the pioneering work of medical insurance comprehensive value evaluation, based on the coordinated development and governance of the three-tier system.
