According to CNNC, the first nuclear medical demonstration base of China Nuclear Group, the Second Hospital of Soochow University, Huguan Campus Phase II project was officially put into use on the 27th. As a key engineering project of China Nuclear Group and a major people's livelihood project in Suzhou, the Huguan Phase II project of the Nuclear Industry General Hospital integrates precise diagnosis and treatment of nuclear technology, clinical trials, medical innovation, training and exchange functions, focusing on nuclear medical treatment, cancer, and chronic disease prevention and control. It aims to build four core functional centers of "precise diagnosis and treatment of nuclear technology, clinical trials of nuclear technology, medical innovation of nuclear technology, training and exchange of nuclear technology", with the goal of becoming a highland for promoting the research and development of nuclear medical technology, clinical transformation, and talent cultivation. The operation of the demonstration base will effectively improve China's ability to prevent and control major diseases and respond to nuclear emergencies, and become an important engine to promote independent innovation of nuclear medical technology and the coordinated development of the industry.
