Multiple lithium iron phosphate manufacturers respond to production cut and maintenance: high raw material prices lead to cost pressure.
Recently, many manufacturers of lithium iron phosphate, such as Hunan Yuneng, Wanrun New Energy, Defang Nano, and Anda Technology, announced that they will stop production for maintenance. Wanrun New Energy responded to this by saying: "Currently, the company is conducting maintenance on some production lines, which does not affect the normal progress of overall orders and shipments." The reduction in production by leading companies is due to equipment maintenance, as well as multiple pressures caused by increases in prices of upstream raw materials such as lithium carbonate and refusal to accept cost transfer in downstream processes. An industry association official also analyzed that, "The stoppage of production for maintenance by manufacturers is a necessary measure."
