Among them, the illegal mining ecological environment damage compensation in Muli Mining Area of Qinghai Province is listed. According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Pei Xiaofei, due to the large degree of ecological environment damage, wide range of impact, and multiple obligors for compensation, the illegal mining case in Muli Mining Area involves a compensation amount of approximately 5.056 billion yuan, making it the highest compensation amount for ecological environment damage in the country at present.
