Director Zheng Zhajie presided over a symposium for private enterprises to solicit opinions and suggestions on how to do a good job in next year's economic work.
On December 26, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission Zheng Zhejie chaired a symposium for private enterprises, focusing on implementing the decisions made at the Central Economic Work Conference and listening to suggestions and opinions from private enterprises on how to improve economic work next year. Some private enterprise leaders from sectors such as home appliances, automotive parts manufacturing, agricultural and animal products processing, education information technology construction, and biomedical research attended the symposium.
During the symposium, the enterprise leaders, based on their own development situation, analyzed in depth the opportunities and challenges faced by their industries next year, and expressed their commitment to adapt to changes, seize development opportunities, and contribute to the high-quality development of the economy and society through better development of their enterprises. They also suggested that the country should increase support for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment in private enterprises next year, optimize the implementation of policies related to "new industries and new forms of business" and further strengthen the supervision of government special funds and accelerate the clearance of overdue payments to enterprises.
Director Zheng Zhejie listened carefully to the speeches of the participating enterprises and responded to their concerns and demands during the exchange. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that macro policies are felt by micro enterprises, helping resolve their issues and enhancing the development environment. He assured that the issues raised will be categorized and addressed accordingly, with systemic problems to be resolved through policy improvements and individual cases through coordinated solutions. He expressed hope that companies will have confidence in development, take a dialectical view of difficulties, tap potential, enhance capabilities, and seize opportunities for growth. The NDRC will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, boost domestic demand, strengthen independent innovation, deepen reform and opening up, continuously stimulate high-quality development, and ensure a good start and progress during the "14th Five-Year Plan". Furthermore, there will be continuous enhancement of regular communication between the government and enterprises to promote the healthy development of the private economy.
Deputy Director Zheng Bei, Secretary-General Yuan Da, and key officials from the General Office, Private Enterprises Bureau, and Industry Department of the NDRC also attended the symposium.
