The first batch of Level 3 autonomous driving vehicles in China have started large-scale road operations.

On the afternoon of December 26th, the first batch of L3-level autonomous driving vehicles with official license plates in China officially started to traffic in Chongqing on a large scale. There were a total of 46 vehicles on the road this time, all of them carrying the L3-level autonomous driving system from Changan Shenlan Automobile. These vehicles were allowed to travel on the Inner Ring Expressway, the New Inner Ring Expressway, and Yudu Avenue in Chongqing.
