Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Foster a new batch of national green factories, green industrial parks, and green supply chain management enterprises.

The National Industrial and Information Work Conference was held in Beijing on December 25th and 26th. The conference emphasized that in 2026, the focus should be on achieving a good start for the "15th Five-Year Plan", focusing on key areas and grasping critical points, highlighting ten key tasks. These include promoting green and low-carbon development in the industry. Promote energy-saving and carbon-reduction transformation of industrial enterprises, formulate standards for carbon footprint accounting for key products, and cultivate a number of national green factories, green industrial parks, and green supply chain management enterprises. Strengthen the comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste, and strengthen the research and application of green low-carbon technology and equipment.
