Second-hand platforms then saw a phenomenon of price gouging, with the top-of-the-line version fetching prices as high as 20,000 yuan, while the official starting price was 8,999 yuan. The supply-demand gap quickly spread to the second-hand market, with listings on idle fish platform showing that the basic version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica version with 16GB + 512GB is generally priced above 9000 yuan, while the top version with 16GB + 1TB is being speculated to be in the range of 10,000 to 11,000 yuan, with a premium of over 20% compared to the official price of 8,999 yuan. Some even gave an exaggerated price of 20,000 yuan.
